Working Father

John 5:17 NKJV
[17] But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

John 5:25-30 NKJV
[25] Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. [26] For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, [27] and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. [28] Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice [29] and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. [30] I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

John 6:37-40 NKJV
[37] All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. [38] For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. [39] This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. [40] And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 8:21-30 NKJV
[21] Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.” [22] So the Jews said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, ‘Where I go you cannot come’?” [23] And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. [24] Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” [25] Then they said to Him, “Who are You?” And Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. [26] I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.” [27] They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father. [28] Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. [29] And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” [30] As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.
